NOTE! For purchases under stock sale/sale/Christmas/Black Friday, a longer delivery time must be expected. It is not possible to use/combine gift cards and discount codes on the same order. COMPLAINT HANDLING
In case of defects or issues, please contact ENAMEL Copenhagen as soon as possible. You will not incur any shipping costs for this process. However, complaints must be made within a reasonable time. The right to make a complaint expires two years after receiving the item, in accordance with Section 83(1) of the Danish Sale of Goods Act, unless otherwise agreed. Once ENAMEL Copenhagen receives a complaint about an item, the complaint will be processed as quickly as possible.

ENAMEL Copenhagen offers a 2-year warranty on all jewellery. We differentiate between production defects, wear and tear, incorrect usage, and natural skin acids.

Production defects refer to faults in the production of the jewellery. Examples of production defects include if an item loses its enamel/stones, if a link on a bracelet breaks, or if a clasp does not close properly. We will always replace jewellery with production defects. If you are unsure whether it is a production defect, please feel free to contact us.

If an item is lost, it cannot be covered by the warranty as we no longer have it and are unable to assess its condition.

ALWAYS CONTACT US DIRECTLY FOR COMPLAINTS
This can be done by sending an email to contact@enamel.dk with a clear picture of the item, along with your order number. ENAMEL Copenhagen will then assess whether the item qualifies for a complaint and how to proceed with the case.

THINGS TO KNOW
Jewellery made of sterling silver with 18K gold plating retains value and can be melted down.

Jewellery with various coatings may wear over time.
Wear and tear means the jewellery has been used for an extended period and is expected to become worn. Wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. An example of wear and tear could be gold plating or rhodium plating, which gradually fades with use. Therefore, we do not replace jewellery that has lost its gold plating or rhodium coating. This is expected due to the thin layer applied to the jewellery.

Incorrect use means the jewellery has been damaged due to improper handling or misuse. Incorrect use is not covered by the warranty. An example of incorrect use could be if jewellery changes colour by being left exposed or exposed to moisture, creams, soap, hairspray, cleaning products, etc. In these cases, the jewellery will quickly become darker and discoloured. Jewellery should always be stored in closed pouches or their jewellery boxes when not in use to maintain their appearance for as long as possible. However, please note that jewellery left unused in closed pouches/boxes for a long period may also become discoloured. Be sure to wear them regularly to preserve their appearance. Jewellery discoloured in metal will not be approved as a complaint, as it has been exposed to improper storage/use. Another example of incorrect use is if a chain of a necklace breaks. Many of our jewellery pieces feature delicate chains that do not tolerate pulling. Therefore, a necklace that has broken in the chain will not be approved as a complaint, as we consider this self-inflicted.

Another example is our enamel jewellery. The enamel can lose colour or fall off if exposed to direct sunlight, for example, by being left on a windowsill, or if exposed to moisture (such as when bathing), hairspray, creams, perfumes, etc. This is considered self-inflicted and will not be approved as a complaint.

Natural skin acids can cause, for example, an earring to become dark or discoloured on the stem that goes through the ear, as well as the surrounding area. This happens due to the natural acids in the body/skin and is not considered a complaint. If your earrings become dark on the stem or chain that goes through the ear, you can try cleaning it with a dry cloth or jewellery cleaner. The discolouration does not harm you or the earrings, and they can still be worn despite this.
